Synopsis

DIZZYING HEIGHTS

When Trend magazine contracts Lindstrom & Sons to manage a fashion shoot in Yellowstone, easygoing Lars Lindstrom rolls his eyes. “Babysitting” supermodel Samara Amaya’s assistant sounds like a snore, even amidst the park’s lush wildlife and scenery. Little does he know that Jane Mays, Samara’s down-to-earth, smart-mouthed assistant and cousin, will be the most exciting person he’s ever met. Her smoky voice and surprisingly sweet heart rock his world.

Jane has been hurt before, but this time it’s right. From loving the same music to their effortlessly sexy sparring, her handsome new tour guide gets her—and Jane is getting Lars right back until Samara blows into town. Used to living in her cousin’s shadow, Jane knows Lars will be nothing more than a notch in a bedpost if the spoiled supermodel has her way. In the past, maybe she would have stepped aside. This time she’ll find the strength to stand up to Samara once and for all…and trust that Lars will be there to catch her if she falls.

Is it possible to fall even more in love with an author that you already adore? Yes, yes it is. With “See Jane Fall” it's totally possible. Regnery has a certain style that I just adhere to . If you gave me 3 books by different authors to read and didn't tell me which were hers...I'd be able to tell!

I simply loved this book and all of it's characters, well, except for Jane's cousin Sara, aka Samaya Amaya. /snickers.

It's the perfect book for anyone who feels trapped. Whether it be in a relationship, job, etc...this book gets the message out, that, it's never too late to get out of a situation you're not meant to be in. The main heroine Jane, feels trapped in her job being her cousins – the beautiful model Samaya Amaya's – personal assistant. And boy is she a piece of work!!! UGH, Regnery does a fine job by making the reader hate her! She's so impossible, there's no way I'd be able to handle her, so kudos to Jane!

Since Jane lost her parents at such a young age, she was adopted by her uncle, which so happens to also be her fathers twin. Every time she looks at his face, it's her fathers eyes looking back at her, and that makes it impossible for Jane to refuse any request he asks of her; which is to work for her dreadful cousin.

While on a photo-shoot up in Yosemite National Park, Jane, her B**** cousin, and crew are to be lead around by the sexy Norwegian, Lars Lindstrom. Jane falls so hard for him! She arrives a few days early to get everything set up and in order before hurricane Samara Amaya arrives, and during that short of time, she and Lars develop an adorable relationship. The flirty banter that goes on between them is hysterical, I loved it and the nicknames that they came up with for each other!! They're a perfect fit from the get-go. The scene where Lars picks Jane up from the airport and at first glance, he thinks she's a young kid. That was BRILLIANT! Regnery writes her characters to be as normal as possible, which makes it really easy to relate to them. Sure, if they want to get dolled up with make-up and a fancy hair-do, they're beautiful, but the point is, is that they're beautiful either way. Made-up or natural, it's all the same. I really like that about this author. She writes REAL people for real people!

I'll take you anywhere you want to go Jane,” Lars' thoughts of Jane.

Poor Janey thinks she's just too plain compared to her beautiful cousin, so she's got it in her head (since this has happened to her before) that whenever Samaya blows into town, Lars will immediately forget about her and pursue Samaya. Even after voicing this fear to Lars, he reassures Jane that he isn't “that guy”... Jane's poor heart wants to believe him, but since she's already been thru this, she's convinced that every guy is “that guy”.

And of course, as soon as Samaya gets a look at Lars, she makes it her number one priority to land him in her bed, despite the fact that Jane has strong feelings for him, because that's the kind of person she is.

Not going to spoil this, but whenever Sara does that awful thing to an item that Jane cherishes, I would have killed her! That broke my heart!

I loved how some of the characters played the card game Euchre, that game's so much fun! I also loved it when Jane thought to herself, “Why did I waste time flying back to New York when my heart was beating in Montana?”

I wholeheartedly recommend this book to...everyone, it's that good. If you haven't read any of the other books in this series, you should, they're great! We have one more Lindstrom to read about, and I cannot wait!

KATY REGNERY, contemporary romance author of the Heart of Montana and Enchanted Places series, has always loved telling a good story. She credits her mother with making funny, heartwarming tales come alive throughout her childhood. A lifelong devotee of all romance writing, from Edwardian to present-day, it was just a matter of time before Katy tried her hand at writing a love story of her own. Living in northern Fairfield County, Connecticut, where her writing room looks out at the woods, her family creates just enough cheerful chaos to remind her that the very best love stories of all are the messy and unexpected ones.
